The U.S. Section of Commerce’s Economic Advancement Administration awarded a $1.5 million federal grant to the Metropolis of Laredo to support build a two-mile highway as element of the Springfield Avenue Extension. And the money have been received domestically from the federal govt, as the extension is touted as one that will alleviate targeted visitors and carry in new employment and households to the region of north Laredo.
Rep. Henry Cuellar declared the news at City Hall on Friday. Mayor Pete Saenz and the economic enhancement division both of those attested to how important the resources are for the development of the challenge.
