One Park Sarasota, a planned luxury condominium development overlooking The Bay Park, has announced its support of The Bay Park Conservancy, the nonprofit organization responsible for overseeing the redevelopment of 53 acres of city-owned land along Sarasota Bay into an iconic public park.

One Park Sarasota has committed a $100,000 sponsorship toward The Bay’s Grand Opening Celebration and pledged $1 million toward capital improvements throughout Phase 1.

One Park Sarasota is a 149-unit property co-developed by national developer PMG and Sarasota-based JEBCO Ventures.

Phase 1 of The Bay Park, set to open in October 2022, will include the Common Ground lawns, the Mangrove Bayou Walkway and outdoor Reading Room, an ADA-accessible paddle launch, an artistic playspace and concession pavilion, and restored and preserved mangroves and shorelines.

WM hopes to fill 30 driver and technician job openings in the Sarasota-Manatee County area at a hiring event April 29-30.

Interviews will be conducted on-site at WM Career Days, at WM of Sarasota, 5221 State Road 776, Venice. The event will be held April 29 from 8 a.m. to noon and April 30 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
